Deleting your account

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This page is about Hamoji, the app for couples by Andrey Fedyukov. You can delete your account and what is stored with it in the app, or by email if you can no longer get into the app.

In the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. The account is deleted right away; the app needs a connection for it.

First Hamoji makes sure it is you: on iPhone an account that signs in with Apple confirms it in Apple’s sheet, an account that signs in with Google does so in Google’s, and any other account whose last sign-in was more than ten minutes ago enters a code from an email. That way a phone in someone else’s hands cannot delete your account with one tap.

Without the app

Write to support@hamoji.app and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address of the account; if you are not sure which one it is, for example because you signed in with Apple and hid your address, write anyway, and we will find the account together.

We delete the account within a month at the latest and confirm it by email. If the address matches no account, we first write back with a question, so that nobody can delete an account that is not theirs.

What is deleted

Everything Hamoji keeps about you, on its server and at RevenueCat, the service that processes its purchases:

What stays

The hamsters and notes you sent stay in your partner’s calendar, without your name and color, as a letter stays with the one who received it. When your partner deletes their account as well, the whole history of your pair is erased.

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: it belongs to your Apple ID or your Google account. Cancel it in the subscription settings of your store. The store, the App Store or Google Play, keeps its own record of a purchase under its own terms.

Deleting in the app clears your phone as well. If you ask us by email, the copy of your pair on your phone stays there until you sign out or remove the app, and Hamoji stays listed in the settings of your Apple ID or Google account, where you remove it yourself.

If you never had an account

Without an account, Hamoji keeps nothing about you on its server: what you chose stays on your phone, and removing the app removes it. To show prices, RevenueCat knows an anonymous identifier of the installation, with nothing that names you.
